ok freaks and freakettes,
i am off to go celebrate my birthday in the snow.
how excited am i? why do i never anticipate this excitement when trips are being planned? i love the tangibleness of going to be someplace else, the feel-ing i get waiting with the sure knowledge that i will get to... meet new people, sit and read in the sun, carve some sweet spring tracks.

ahhh snowboarding, you lovely excuse to be outside. i sing your praises on my three year old bought used board. I shout hosannas to you as i ready my all red snowclothes that make me look like a big tomato cruising down the hill. thou art divine.

still got some last minute packing to do. got all my drugs to stash... my prednisone, my pentasa, my vitamins a,c,e, etc... i eat over 30 pills a day... with a doctors note of course. ahhh snowboarding ahhh it is good to be alive.

i wanted to write lists of 31s for this birthday. inspired by my old friend rowland... not my wise idea....

but some of the catagories were...
i was hoping to do books, movies, places, things, garage sale items, memories.
perhaps i will get to them...but right now i have a cat settling on my typing arm.... and i don't thing she is going to move.

i need to spend a little time with her, so she remembers me while i am away.
