things:

1. Caught a baby crow who couldn't fly yet this morning while i was out walking the dogs. Put it in a spot lulu could not access. Stared into his little beady eyes and thought about naming him Poe, but his screeching parents made me hurry the pups away. Somebody divebombed me.

2. Today is my Father in laws 70th birthday. He is a respectable (snort) patriarch and skilled in the right passtimes; fishing, boatbuilding and palm tree farming. Figures. Happy Birthday David!

3. I could never live in Florida. My northern roots do not allow me to enjoy the slow sweaty slug goo weather. I do dig being able to swim in the salt water without my heart stopping, and seeing humping sea turtles minutes away from the house, and the gopher turtles and Kathy's cooking and getting to hang out with the family i have married into.

4. Caught a sheephead (convict fish) and a manta. Paul caught a puffer fish. Linda caught something that was big and broke her line. We watched Shaun of the Dead and yes, dogs can look up.

5. Atlanta airport is the suxxor.
