Fitzmas
Besides not being able to pull myself away from my newsblogs as I wait in eager anticipation of Mr. Fitzgerald handing out indictments like gifts on christmas morning. I can't wait to see stuff shatter. Like watching a sandstorm approaching from the Sahel, blacken the skies, natural disaster political disaster we all get ours in the end.
Besides the fact that linda and I were both feeling nasty we had an interesting weekend. On saturday Ma came down and we drove out to the NW Captive Bred Expo of Reptiles and Amphibians at the Puyallap fair grounds. Picture this: a rainbow of thousands of snakes and lizards in individual clear plastic salad containers. It was spectacular. There were some turtles present, though not as many as we had hoped for. We didn't bring anyhome, though I do have a new interest in Japanese pond turtles. Thinking about getting some hatchlings at some point in the future to start raising in the house. There was a 40 lb sulcata that had pretty severe pyramiding. reminded me of a bad copy of W.A.R.T. (west african rapid transit) the whopper sulcata we had when I was a kid in Mali. He was too long and squat and his tusks at the front of his shell were really pronounced. Looked like they might be hard to eat around.
Then sunday we ran some errands and stayed home and napped with the pups. I am looking forward to going back on my gut meds on Wednesday. Sick of being sickly.
